It is encouraging that we've, at least, had a lot of showings...just no offers as of yet. I got a call last night, in fact, from a realtor wanting to show our house this morning. Though I wasn't really "in the mood" to deal with it, we're in a position where we simply can't pass on any opportunities that come up. All it takes is the right buyer at the right time.
So, once again, I'm going to drag my faithful friend...my vacuum cleaner...out of the closet and let her do her work. Where would I be without her?
Of course, I'll grab my can of Pledge and my bottle of Windex and work the house over in a frenzied fashion to make sure that everything looks "just so". It's become my typical daily routine.So, I guess I should pull myself away from the computer and hop to it! We're on a countdown of T-minus 65 mins. Just say a prayer and keep those fingers crossed that this is the last showing we'll have to deal with for a long, long time to come! What I'd give to see this sign plopped down in our front yard...

I lay in bed every Saturday & watch the 3 hours of "Sell This House" on A&E... its funny to see what people think & say when they go to open houses. They focus on everything BUT the house. Its said that they make up their mind within the first 15 seconds of walking into a home - isnt that crazy????
Spring makes people want to move... so fingers crossed this is the family that wants to move SOON! :)

I don't know how you do it. My mom is selling my grandmother's house and it's just my mom in the house. It's hard for her. I couldn't imagine what it would be like for you with your family all being there! I do hope you sale it soon April!

Wishing you loads of luck!!! We decided to lease our house, it won't sell unless we want to literally give it away! I refuse to take a check to closing...if I could take a check to closing...grr. So it's going up for lease so we can move on after almost 4 years!

Praying that the perfect family for your home will walk through the doors today. My husband is a real estate broker, and he has seen an upswing lately, so things ARE looking up! God's timing is perfect...
When we put our house on the market (over 4 years ago), it took all summer before it sold and I thought that was long! It was so stressful trying to keep the house in top showing state . . . arrgh! Hang in there.
Must feel very frustrating, I hope it gets sold soon! :-)
