Yes...it got up to a whopping 78 degrees! I loved every second of it, too! Of course, all of this warmer weather is causing life to burst forth everywhere! The cherry trees here in our neighborhood are in full bloom.
And so are my fringe plants...
Even my day lilies are beginning to make their appearance!
These two fishermen seemed to enjoy their time on the small lake behind our house. Wonder if they caught anything? I think that one guy is wondering why some crazy lady is snapping his picture!
This pretty blue sky needs no introduction.
Of course, the beautiful weather inspired Bella to root around all of our shrubs in search of critters.
I don't want to even think about the rain and cooler temperatures that are due to move into our area this week. No...I choose to live in complete denial! In my mind...spring has SPRUNG! So, how was your weekend weather? Do anything fun and exciting? Do tell!

Worth The Wait!

Well, since I live in practically the same area, I'm with ya... spring is here, and it better not leave! But right now, the winds are starting to kick up and the skies are gray... just getting some of that rain that we need to keep those flowers blooming, right?

78 degrees? WOW! That sounds wonderful. I was pretty excited just to get up to 60. The cherry blossomes are gorgeous! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who gets busted taking strangers pictures. When a tree fell on our house last year, I was taking pictures of the guys and crane taking it off the house and they totally caught me taking pictures out the back window. I think they thought I was a weird stalker lady! HA!

You don't even want to know about the weather here......it's actually a whopping 23 degrees right now!
We had beautiful weather here in Charlotte too. We spent the whole weekend outside. Davis had to have two baths, because he was so dirty. The temp gauge in my van read 79º today. The wind is whipping like crazy, but it's still nice and warm. I'd like to think spring is here to stay, but I'm afraid we'll have a bit more winter.

We enjoyed the wonderful weather with similar temperatures this weekend (and today) too. We must not be far from each other! However, cooler temps are currently thundering and it's only supposed to be in the high 50s tomorrow. :(
I love those pretty cherry blossoms April! So pretty! We had a rainy day but it was very warm so the kids played outside tonight. They loved it!

Even though we are having pretty weather here we are not as far a long as you guys. No cherry blossoms yet! We have seen a few buttercups peeking up. I am so thankful for the signs of an early spring!

Yes, I enjoyed this pass weekend but not ready for all the pollen to start bothering me. Today I am so stopped up and ready for a nice rain to wash it down.
