You've got to love days like today! Time for my annual physical...YIPPEE! Can't you just sense the excitement oozing out all over the place? Fun times are definitely ahead! I'm so bummed that I couldn't start my day off with my usual bowl of Cheerios because I'm required to fast. Going through Cheerios withdrawal in no fun, at all!No, in all seriousness, I fully expect to hear my doctor say, "You're as healthy as a horse!" After all, that IS a good thing, right? Thankfully, I've never battled high cholesterol or issues with my ticker. Of course, as my "Golden Years" are drawing ever near, I've learned to never say never! One thing I'm definitely going to address with him is this ongoing trouble with my neck and right shoulder. If I turn my head a certain way, a pain shoots down my right arm. Plus, if I sit too long, my right shoulder blade gets a burning sensation in it. I went to a walk-in medical clinic a few weekends ago about it and even though the pain has decreased, I'm still not back to my old self. It bothers me to run on the treadmill and I can no longer lift my free weights without it hurting. I was given some meds, but I really don't like taking anything unless it's 100% necessary for me to function...and I'm not there yet.
So, hopefully, my doctor will be able to get to the bottom of what's been ailing me. I heard the best quote recently when a 100 year old man was asked what his secret to longevity was and he replied simply, "BREATHING!" Amen to that!

Yikes, I don't like those full blown physicals at all but I know I have to get them...thank goodness mine was all thumbs up except I needed a little boost from some B12 so I just take a pill for it...They wanted me to get the shot but I am a scardy scat when it comes to shots...I know I am some old woman scared of shots but that is my fear and has always been my fear.
I had something (pain) like this a few months before Cjristmas but finally after a few months it quit hurting...I was thinking I pulled something and it just had to work itself out...
Hope you can find out where the pain is coming from.
Have a good week, April!
Geez.... I hate when someone mentions their anual exam.... it reminds me that I need to have one.
Thanks, April. :)
Seriously, a nagging pain is NO fun. I sure hope they find the cause soon.
And thanks for getting this little diddy stuck in my head. I am gonna be singing it all night! hee hee
Be careful about this pain you are feeling. I had a friend with something similar and it was actually something serious (not to scare you). My friend's issue was misdiagnosed for quite a long time before she finally got down to the bottom of things. I will be praying for you.
Ick! Not my favorite thing to do. :)
Come by for a Shabby Apple dress give away. :)
Fingers crossed he tells you that you'll live to be 150, April! *giggle*
Seriously, I'm praying that all goes well.
Oh, I hear you on the whole physical thing...I really and truly would rather have a root canal...but I am sure the doctor will have only good news for you!
I hope he was able to figure out what was causing the pain you're having, too.
I hope you have a good night! :)
Blessings,
