So, enough about all of that! I got the nicest surprise today from one of my sweet bloggy friends, Tanya, over at Frou Frou Britches. If you've never met her, take the time to pay her a visit. She's from my home state of Arkansas and is as genuine as they come! Oh, and let me not forget to mention that she is one crafty lady and has a great sense of humor! She was kind enough to pick me as the recipient of this award to and it couldn't have come at a better time.
It's awarded to blogs that are "versatile" meaning they're "capable of turning easily from one thing to another". Well, those of you who read my blog regularly know that my blog is pretty much all over the place. I do post a lot about my family, but I also post about whatever strikes my fancy at the moment. That's just how I roll!
Now, part of the award requirements is that I have to tell 7 random things about myself, so here goes:
1. I am a diehard Arkansas Razorbacks fan...WOO PIG SOOIE!
2.. I dig Neil Diamond's music...there, I said it!
3. I am beyond excited at the thought of becoming a granny one day!
4. I, actually, LOVE to iron! I know...shocking, isn't it?
5. That chick, Courtney, on "The Bachelor" drives me BONKERS!
6. I still have so much to figure out on my iPhone...I do well to text and make phone calls!
7. Pinterest has become my new best friend!
I am supposed to pass this award on to 15 of my favorite bloggers, but I simply can't pick favorites...there's just no way! So, I'm going to be a rule breaker here and say that y'all are all deserving of this award, so it's yours to claim. You're all winners in my book!

What a fun award, April! You are so deserving! Neil Diamond reminds me of my childhood. My parents were big fans and I kind of dig him, too! I believe I even saw him in concert once? My iPhone is a mystery, too. My girls have to help old Mom all the time! I don't know what I would do without it, though.:) Lori
I can't stand Courtney on the Bachelor either, and I'm hoping he sends her home soon!
I just stopped by from SITS to say hello. Hope you find time to do the same.
I don't watch the Bachelor but I think I know which girl you're talking about! I'm not too crazy about ironing but I do it and am thankful that I have a wonderful husband who works hard for our family and pray for him while I'm ironing his clothes. Silly, I know, but it helps me. NOW, as to you never even hearing of my favorite movie, Sense and Sensibility!!! If we lived closer, I would lend you my copy! Enjoy your day and hopefully the problem with your daughter and her chorus teacher will work out so she doesn't have to quit! Enjoy!
You ARE a big deal on your blog for sure : )
What is up with mean teachers. Are you kidding me? And Abbie seems like such a great kid. Why in the world would anyone be a creep a zoid to her. Craziness times ten!
Hmmm. I kind of like ironing, once I get going. It's the start-up that keeps me from doing it as much as I should. (and I HATE dusting). Around here, we listen to lots of different music, including Neil Diamond and my hubby's fav, Johnny Mathis. My fav might have to be Patsy Cline. :<) I don't watch the Bachelor, though. I just can't see how anyone can start a marriage knowing that their spouse most likely slept with at least several other women before deciding that they were the "best". ugh. Just makes my skin crawl. But YOU make my heart sing, and you ARE a big deal, sweet friend!
Congrats on your award.. THanks for stopping by last week.. Sorry it took me so long to come by and say Hello.. I was not on the computer much last week.. Thanks again for coming by..
Thanks for the shout out.
So sorry about Abby's teacher. That stinks. We had the same problem with my oldest's art teacher I 6th grade. No art in 7th grade, but she changed her mind this year and got a fabulous teacher. Maybe Abby will pick up chorus again later.
You love Neil, I love Barry Manilow. And I WISH I like to iron. We walk around wrinkled half the time because I HATE it!
I love to iron, too, especially if I can watch tv while I do it.
I'm visiting via Frou Frou Britches!
Thanks, April! I'll play along!
We don't get The Bachelor, but it sounds like that's a good thing, lol! I love Barry Manilow when I was in 6th grade. Not so much now though.
Iron? I've heard of it....LOL!
How's everything with the bed bugs and job?
This was too cute, April! Congrats on your win... and how did I know you were addicted to Pinterest? Hmmm... let me see... *haha*
I love to iron too! Ha. And that Courtney chick is driving me bonkers too!!
YOU ARE the real deal and a big deal!
Have a great day!
Congrats on your award! That is so sad about Abby! What a shame that she has to stop doing what she likes because a teacher has taken the fun out!
